Friday, December 22, 2017  United by Music North America Band opening for  Harpdog Brown & The Travelin’ Blues Machine
Join us Friday evening for a very special event with United By Music. This hip-shaking show is hitting the highway,  just in time to kick off your holidays!  United by Music North America band, winner of the prestigious MUDDY Award for Best Event 2016 will open the Harpdog Brown show featuring UBMNA mentor, and Highway 99 Blues Club favorite, Ben Rice. This event will showcase UBMNA artists spanning the state from Vancouver to Edmonds, and their full ensemble!  The showcase will begin with UBMNA artist ambassador, Nick Baker, performing a set of holiday songs.

Highway 99 Blues Club and Harpdog Brown are dedicating this evening to support these courageous artists who are musically talented and developmental challenges and delays – Engaging them in a program of workshops, rehearsals and performances.  In January, the group is headed back to Memphis to perform two showcases during the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge week. Highway 99 Blues Club guests will have the chance engage in and support this trip and other performance opportunities, including UBMNA’s feature shows during the USA Games for Special Olympics being held in Seattle in July 2018!

UBMNA is excited to announce their first international associated mentor, three-time Maple Blues Award winner Canadian musician Harpdog Brown.
United by Music North America performs world-wide and year-round  and is expanding it’s programming and seeking new talent in the Seattle area in 2018!  With a strong foundation for success provided by Amanda Gresham and Barbara Hammerman, co-founders and directors, UBMNA is fulfilling its mission of raising awareness about how connected we all are through music, community and our universal aspirations to lead inspiring and fulfilling lives.
